Stockholm’s Greatest Boxing Trainer & Coach for Beginners

“I booked 10 private lessons in Sept and October and enjoyed every single session. Meryl is a great teacher, listens to your personal goals and alters the trainings accordingly. I really feel I gained a good amount of boxing skills in just a short time. Next to that, Meryl has a great sense of humor, likes to get to know people and finds good places to train outside when the weather allows it. I for sure recommend to anyone that wants to start with boxing, or to anyone that is looking for great workouts throughout the weeks. Excellent boxing trainings given by Meryl.”

“I did 10 one-on-one sessions and I would highly recommend that to anyone! I discovered boxing as an adult and fell in love with it but felt like I was struggling with the fundamentals and technical aspects of the sport. In short, Meryl really takes what she does seriously and that comes through in her coaching. I made improvements to my boxing technique and fitness and above all it was really fun!!”

“Meryl is the best coach I’ve ever had. She represents boxing to me; the discipline, the motivation, the technique, the blood and sweat, the passion, the intelligence, the rhythm and the spirit of boxing. If you’ll have the chance to train with her, you’re a lucky person. And if you think you know all about boxing, think again.”

— Ann-sofie Wahlberg

“Awesome 1-2-1 sessions—in our last session we focused on my footwork and movement around ring through a variety of different training methods. The best thing about the session is the focus on technique, Meryl explains everything in such a good way, giving you clear instructions and guidance throughout as well as introducing new tips, ways to add combinations or throw the right shot in any situation. Towards the end of the hour we usually finish with a couple of rounds of sparring, this is a great way to put everything you have learnt into practice, the time goes so quickly but you learn so much within each session.”

— Pete Griffiths

“Meryl’s a great coach who listens to her clients: ‘what do YOU want to focus on?’ She gives clear instructions and is creative always with new exercises in mind for you to improve your boxing technique while having fun. She’s an experienced and devoted professional. I recommend her for both rookies and more experienced boxers who want to get more out of their training.”

“I joined for a bootcamp in 2019 as a complete newby to boxing. Meryl is just an exceptional coach, will lead you on the right way to make you love the sport. During the bootcamp I was able to drop 5kg and improve my condition. Now I joined the club and train on a regular basis. Don’t miss Meryl’s classes!!”

— Gus Luna

“I've always wanted to try boxing and was thrilled to sign up for a six week bootcamp for all levels. I was incredibly nervous to show up, and yes, the classes are HARD! But Meryl has a keen eye for knowing each person's limits and adjusting. She never pushes you past where you're actually capable of going—and overtime you find yourself progressing without being overwhelmed then your body starts to create muscle memory. After two weeks, I noticed that I was not only a bit stronger, but throwing a jab became a lot easier and sturdier than the first two classes. And suddenly it's a whole new ballgame and things start to make sense.

What I didn't really understand was that there is so much more to boxing than just throwing punches and Meryl works with every part of boxing. Her classes were one of the best things I have done for myself in a very long time and will continue boxing. She's a wonderful and thoughtful teacher and full of great, positive energy. She'll make you sweat, but it's hella empowering.”
